Usually no preservatives or artificial colors are added to retain the original sweet and sour flavor of hawthorn. It is then filtered and the filtered hawthorn juice is concentrated into hawthorn fruit concentrated juice. The concentrated juice is spray-dried into powder, which is hawthorn fruit powder.
